Imagine having a slightly warm, crispy on the outside and soft in the inside bread pudding with Nutella hazelnut spread. And, a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. This bread pudding recipe is perfect for any day of the time. Either you're chilling on your bed while watching your favourite series or as a dessert after bbq get together with family and friends! Easy, cheap and a winner to everyone's taste bud!

WHAT YOU NEED

1/2 a loaf of white bread (hollow and less dense bread is the best)

1/2 a cup chocolate chips (optional)

A cup of white/brown sugar

1/2 a cup Nutella spread

2 tbs butter (melt a tbs)

1/2 a tin condensed milk

1 tin of evaporated milk

1/2 a cup fresh milk

2 medium size eggs

1 tbs vanilla essence

1/2 ts salt

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

1. Slightly buttered your bread and cut your bread into 4 or tear it into smaller pieces.

2. In a bowl, pour half of the evaporated milk and soak the bread. Make sure all bread pieces are well coated with the milk.

3. In another bowl, pour in the remaining evaporated milk as well as the condensed milk. Pour the fresh milk into the condensed milk tin to wash the extra condensed milk stuck at the wall of the tin and pour it into the bowl. Mix it well until the condensed milk is no longer thick in consistency.

4. Add in the sugar and whisk all together until the sugar slightly dissolve.

5. Crack 2 eggs into the milk mixture and whisk again. Once the eggs are well mixed, throw in the vanilla essence, salt and the melted butter. Make sure the melted butter is already at room temperature.

6. Now, you can arrange your bread into your casserole dish or baking tin. Butter it generously to avoid your bread pudding sticking to the your baking dish.

7. Sprinkle the chocolate chip in between the bread and on the surface. Don't forget to dollop the Nutella spread wherever you feel needed (you can never have too much Nutella).

8. When done, pour in the milk mixture and press the bread down a little bit for it to soak in.

9. Lastly, put blobs of butter on top of the bread and sprinkle some sugar. Put the pudding into a preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 35-45 minutes or until the pudding puffs up and turn into golden brown.

10. Pipe on more Nutella once the temperature of the pudding falls slightly. Happy baking and enjoy it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
